The Centre of Excellence for Environmental Research (CoEER) collaborates with a network of national and international partners who share our commitment to advancing environmental research and sustainable development. Through these strategic partnerships, we combine expertise, resources, and diverse perspectives to deliver impactful research outcomes for Papua New Guinea and the Pacific region. We acknowledge and value the contribution of each partner in helping us drive innovation, strengthen capacity, and create meaningful, science-based solutions for environmental challenges.
The CoEER partners with key stakeholders, research institutions and universities internally, externally, regionally, and globally.
COLLABORATIONS
Key collaborators in R&D of the COEER include CSIRO, ACIAR, NARI, CIC, NDAL, GrowPNG, FRI, FPDA and more. Research areas of collaboration widely around land uses, agricultural and environmental sustainability, climate change and rural livelihoods. Regular researches dealing with issues within the extractive industries, biodiversity conservation and management are other regular research areas.
